Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself and explain what this blog is going to be about. So, here goes:
Who am I?
My name is Theresa Reed and I love everything about cooking. I’m 19 years old and have plenty to learn but feel like I’ve got enough knowledge to start this blog. I hope to get a lot feedback from you all and learn from that.
Apart from cooking, I take great pleasure in photography. I’ll take pictures of anything I can lay my eyes on. Every weekend, I like going to the countryside with my camera in hand. I also enjoy drawing, painting and art, in general.
What do I do?
I’m currently studying at Durham University and plan to go abroad straight afterwards. I love travelling and plan to take a year out after my studies to experience life across different parts of the world. I’m not entirely sure about my plans for the future but I know for sure that it will revolve around cooking. I don’t like the idea of working for someone else so would prefer not to get a job.
I also have a great interest in fitness and go the gym on a daily basis. I haven’t achieved my weight goals yet but I’m working on it everyday. It’s quite difficult though because my interest in cooking has a greater influence on my mind than my will to lose weight Anyway, you only live once so I think we should enjoy every moment of it. It’s important not to let little things like this affect you too much.
Why Did I Start this Blog?
I’m sure you have realised by now that I love cooking, fitness and art. The aim of this blog is to share my passions with everyone and showcase my abilities. I wanted a place to share my ideas, recipes and pictures, and thought this blog would be the best way to do that. It is also a place where I can meet new people that have the same interests as me.
To finish off, let me just say that I hope everyone enjoys reading through my blog, and gets some new ideas. Please feel free to leave comments and share any posts that you feel are worth sharing.
